We are bridging the digital divide in Papua New Guinea by bringing better communication and broadband access to rural communities and institutions. Our initiatives focus on improving essential communication tools and building reliable high-speed internet networks for homes, businesses, and public services.
This initiative, supported by a US$15 million partnership with the World Bank, is improving access to vital communication tools. Initially managed by then Papua New Guinea Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Technology Authority (PANGTEL), the project transitioned to National Information and Communications Technology Authority (NICTA) in 2010.

Providing direct broadband connections to essential public institutions, such as schools, health facilities, local government offices, and community centres.
